When I’m advocating for veganism, I’m not doing it for an ego trip. I’m not doing it because it gets me off to point out people’s wrongdoings or because I think I’m superior. I’m doing it because I care about this planet and the animals and people who live on it. When people give me shit about being vegan all I hear is how many more animals are going to be murdered for them unnecessarily, how many families will be ripped apart, how much forest is going to be cleared, how much land and water contaminated, how much marine biodiversity lost, how many workers are going to be put in danger picking food and slaughtering animals, how much pollution will be put into the air, how the animals and the planet are dying every single second and these god damn people don’t want to take a step back and make a difference in any way they easily can. Multiple cities in the United States are going to be uninhabitable in 50 years because of climate change, but who cares really because bacon right?

We’re killing our home because we don’t want to control our own greed and people want to call ME extreme for saying we should do something about it???
